The pieces were created and devised with the Colourscape structure in mind and to enable experienced and beginner overtone singers to perform together.

Turku Toning Tagnain (Palatal Overtone Singing) Variation 2
All singers standing/sitting in an inward facing circle (various circles if loads of singers)
On tingshag (Tibetan small cymbal) All Sing a pure “u” on the same pitch or an octave above and below with the tongue in the tagnain position, keep the mouth and lip shape the same, no constriction in sound, explore the harmonics slowly
On Tingshag finish your last breathe and change to the next vowel shape/sound
All Sing a pure “Awe” on the same pitch or an octave above and below with the tongue in the tagnain position, keep the mouth and lip shape the same, no constriction in sound, explore the harmonics slowly
On Tingshag finish your last breathe and change to the next vowel shape/sound All Sing a pure “aah” as in “Laah” on the same pitch or an octave above and below with the tongue in the tagnain position, keep the mouth and lip shape the same, no constriction in sound, explore the harmonics slowly
