Symphonic Gong Sound Bath Meditation Journey with Singing Bowls and more

At The Old School Hall, Batcombe, BA4 6HE : !!20 Places only!!
Gentle body opening and stretching, followed by toning with your own voices to tune into the resonance within your own being,
Guided Theta Wave breath work which allows the body and mind to start to relax and open up to be receptive.
The Sound journey itself will have some different components as well, but mainly will have singing bowls and Gongs interspersed with other sounds and mantras.
Gongs and Singing bowl Sound baths envelope you in the warmth of their full spectrum frequencies which have been embodied within their crystalline metallic structure. The sounds they produce can support the receiver to relax and let go. As the deep ocean of resonating sounds enable the mind to free itself of thoughts, the body free itself of tensions, the recipients can go on a journey as the waves of sound support transformation and stuck energy and can bring us to potential balance and alignment.
Please bring your own mats, blankets and pillow so you can comfortably lie on the floor for 75 minutes or so.
Hot tea available at the end.

Over three days, monks from Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, using millions of grains of coloured sand, make a Peace Mandala, representing a Buddha’s earthly palace. Watch the intricate design build up from the dedication ceremony to the final ritual when the mandala is dismantled and scattered into the Sacred Leat Water.

TIBETAN MONKS WORKSHOP. Tashi Lhunpo Monks
A chance to meet the Tibetan monks and try prayer flag printing, butter sculpture, using the chagpurs for sand mandala making, and make a dukar wheel, which can be blessed by the monks at the end of the workshop. Suitable for all ages – all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Film THE EPIC OF EVEREST with Prologue by the Tibetan Monks
This extraordinary film documents the ill-fated expedition of Mallory and Irvine in 1924. Captain Noel promoted his film around Europe with Tibetan monks travelling to the west for the first time performing a live prologue. This screening recreates that historic prologue.

Celebrate the Dalai Lama’s 91st birthday. Born in Tibet on 6th July 1935, The Dalai Lama has been a teenage head of state, refugee, world religious leader and Nobel laureate. Alison will share stories from his life. Stay for a blessing from the monks and birthday cake!
